SEC “Wades” into the Illegal Hit on Vanderbilt’s Krause

SEC officials have handed down their punishment to Arkansas football player Marquel Wade. The SEC has suspended Wade, the freshman from Florida, for the upcoming contest versus ninth ranked South Carolina. SEC officials determined Wade’s vicious hit on a Vanderbilt player, Jonathan Krause, during a punt return in the third quarter of Saturday’s game was a violation of a player using the crown of his helmet and unsportsmanlike conduct.
